Officer Bios

Madison W. Casey, President

BS with an accounting emphasis from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 1976.
MBA in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, 1978.

Lived in New York City From 1978-1991, and worked as a securities analyst first at Morgan Guaranty Trust (now J.P. Morgan) and then at Cyrus J. Lawrence, Inc. Earned Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Passed CPA Examination.

Moved to Evergreen, Colorado in 1991 and worked as a financial analyst at American Express in Englewood which was spun-off as First Data Corp. Later went with the spin-off of MoneyGram in Lakewood.

Retired in 1997 to take on a full-time volunteer role for five years as president of the board of Rocky Ridge Music Center in Estes Park, CO, a 60-year-old summer classical music camp. I moved to Estes Park in 2000.

Amateur classical pianist -- Resumed playing in 2001 after having studied classical piano from age 7 through college.

Nancy Stevens

Nancy Stevens received her Bachelor of Arts in Management and Business from Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois. She also holds Master Degrees in Psychology and Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Nebraska. In addition, Nancy has undergraduate, graduate and post graduate studies in Philosophy, Medieval and Renaissance Studies from Oxford University, Oxford, England. Her professional experience includes Director of International Studies, Barat College and ten years with Oxford University at the Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies as American Representative coordinating American undergraduates and visiting academics for special programmes abroad. After her retirement from her position in Oxford, she became the Senior Management Consultant for Paragon, Inc. in Lincoln, NE. Relocating to Kansas City, she advanced to the Executive Director and Director of Development for the Kansas City Camerata Chamber Orchestra. Nancy also has post graduate study at the University of Chicago and the University of Missouri in Kansas City in the Funding and Administration of Non Profit Organizations. Nancy has been a Board member and officer of several community and academic organizations and is currently Director of Programs and Development for the Estes Park Music Festival. She is also on the Executive Board of the New York City Opera Society. Stevens was listed in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. Nancy joined the Board of the Estes Park Music Festival in 2003.


Mal Walker

Malvin, "Mal," Walker, a Board member of the Estes Park Music Festival since 1986, is a graduate of Jordan Conservatory of Music with B.M. and M.M. Degrees. He was a professional cellist with the Jordan, South Bend, and Indianapolis Orchestras, and also a teacher. Serving as a Director of the Ensemble Music Society from 1957, he was elected Emeritus Director in 1982. He served as a Board Member of Rocky Ridge Music from 1986 and was made a life-time Board member in 1997. In addition, he is a composer and author of several music articles.


Marcia Logan

Marcia Logan received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Colorado and a Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of Denver. Her professional career was with Chevron in the areas of Finance and Information Technology and was based in Denver, Houston, Gallup, NM, and at Chevron’s headquarters in San Ramon, CA. She retired to Estes Park in 2005 and became active in the community through Rotary, the Estes Park Medical Center Foundation, and volunteering in Rocky Mountain National Park. She joined the Board of the Estes Park Music Festival in 2008.
