"Shout for Joy" for the return concert of the Jubilate! Sacred Singers sharing
their gift of choral music under the directorship of the gifted of Dr. J. Arturo
Gonzalez. Born out of a desire to share the gift of A cappella choral music with
the Boulder community the Jubilate Sacred Singers began in 2002. With an initial
membership of 30, the group pledged their resources and accepted the challenge
of learning an extensive and varied repertoire that could be tailored to a range
of venues.
Sunday's program will be sung in Spanish, Russian and Latin, in addition to
English. The pieces have special meaning for the holiday as well as for every
day. There will also be three piano selections that bring in the spirit of the
season. Among the many pieces are: El Cielo Canta, Silent Night, O Nata Lux, We
Wish you a Merry Christmas and Go Tell It on the Mountain. The audience will be
invited to join in several Christmas carols.

loving and welcoming spirit would be a huge understatement. Their music radiates
this so strongly that experiencing them live is an absolute must." Kip Kuepper,
